This section compares the result between MSMAware and manual competition. The percentage differences in calculating the time area method values are shown in table 4.3
It can be seen that the percentage errors were generally small, with maximum error of only 0.25 %.
It is concluded that MSMAware was accurate in the computation of design discharge using the time area method for the study area following the requirements of (MSMA, 2000).
